Outdoor Training

Now, when you take our basic skills class, you are a
member for the rest of the calendar year. After completing
your class, come out to train every week if you want to!

Indoor Training

Currently, our basic skills classes are held outdoors starting in April and June at the Sinking Spring Fire Company grounds in Sinking Spring and are held indoors starting in September and January at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township.

Orientation for our next basic skills class for dogs at least 6 months old is April 24. The orientation dates for the rest of 2012 are April 24, July 10 and Sept. 25. Your application and check are due one week before. Choose Mondays, Tuesdays or Saturdays in April. Click on the Basic Skills Class button at left.

The Berks County Dog Training Club was founded in 1946 as a not-for-profit organization with the purpose of training you to train your dog. To this day we continue with that same purpose. Through the years we have grown to a membership of several hundred people. We are a very active group with many dedicated volunteers who would welcome the opportunity to "train you to train your dog."
