Our basic skills classes are held outdoors starting in April and June at the Liberty Fire Company grounds in Sinking Spring and are held indoors starting in September and January at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township.

The Berks County Dog Training Club can train you to train your dog.

The next class for dogs 6 months of age or older will have orientation Sept. 16, 2014, at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township at 7 p.m.  You can chose a class at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m.  that begins the following Tuesday. Have a puppy? Try the AKC S.T.A.R.  Puppy Class. It also is having orientation without dogs at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township. Our next Household Manners class will have orientation Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. without dogs and class will begin Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m.

Registration forms for any of the above classes must be received by Sept. 10, 2014 .

The Berks County Dog Training Club was founded in 1946 as a not-for-profit organization with the purpose of training you to train your dog. To this day we continue with that same purpose. Through the years we have grown to a membership of several hundred people. We are a very active group with many dedicated volunteers who would welcome the opportunity to "train you to train your dog."
