Our basic skills classes are held outdoors starting in April and June at the Liberty Fire Company grounds in Sinking Spring and are held indoors starting in September and January at the 4-H Community Center in Bern Township.

can train you to train your dog.

The next class for dogs 6 months of age or older will have orientation Jan. 17, 2017, at the Berks County 4-H Community Center in Bern Township at 7 p.m.  You can choose a 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. Tuesday class that begins the following week. Have a puppy? Try the AKC S.T.A.R.  Puppy Class. It also is having orientation without dogs at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at the Berks County 4-H Community Center in Bern Township. However, classes will be held on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., starting the next week, Jan. 24. Click the AKC STAR Puppy button above for details. Registration form here.

The classes will be indoors at the Berks County 4-H Community Center in Bern Township (1238 County Road, Leesport, PA).

Registration forms for any of the above classes must be received no later than two weeks before orientation.

The Berks County Dog Training Club was founded in 1946 as a not-for-profit organization with the purpose of training you to train your dog. To this day we continue with that same purpose. Through the years we have grown to a membership of several hundred people. We are a very active group with many dedicated volunteers who would welcome the opportunity to "train you to train your dog."
